Antonio from Eidos Napoli is a very passionate man. Today we got the chance to meet him, and hear him tell us about the vision of his latest collection. It is inspired by the island of Ischia just outside Naples, in everything from printed maps on pocket squares to knitwear spun from a mix of lighter and darker coloured yarns to create the effect of the garments worn by the local fishermen of the island.
Antonio is obviously proud as he demonstrates the perfect curvature of jacket lapels, tie prints and other design features of his garments. Rightfully so, I might add, because this was indeed one of the most inspiring booths at the exhibition.
All of this is great. I finally get my eidos jacket back from my tailor tomorrow. Can’t wait.
