Thanks for the new hat, The Class Room. Ebbetts Field Flannels x Tanner Goods.
Still unseasonably cold down here (50s) so still in cords and shell…and still ready for summer.
Still ready for summer
Ready for summer. I was in real need of a haircut here.
England by way of Orvis. I’m not sure who actually manufactured them, unfortunately.
edit: I should add that these are the first Albert slippers I’ve owned. I get the hype. They’re very comfortable, and I really like the profile. I need to find a summer appropriate pair.
V casual day.
Coming soon. Made in the USA tropical wool pants from Howard Yount.
Though I’m currently putting 90% of my disposable income into my upcoming wedding and house savings, these are definitely on my must buy list. In my opinion, which is skewed slightly by thighs that don’t always mesh well with slimmer pants, Howard Yount’s made in USA cut is the best off the rack cut out currently. They taper well, but not too much, and won’t leave you looking like your wearing tights around the office. I’ve been waiting and hoping there would be USA tropicals soon, and I’m getting my wish.
If you haven’t tried ‘em, I can’t recommend checking out HY’s USA line highly enough.
It’s On Sale: Eastland Made in Maine Shoes
Creatures of Comfort has three Eastland’s Made in Maine shoes on deep discount right now. Eastland’s Made in Maine collection is pretty decent, and usually much better looking in real life than they are online (for some reason people take fairly bad photographs of them). I like my Monhegan boots from them, though there was a piece of reconstituted leather on the inside of the heel that fell apart. The shoes still wear fine, and if I had bought mine on a discount as deep as this one, I would have considered them a fantastic purchase.
Available now on Creatures of Comfort: the Aroostook boot for $127; Seneca Camp Boot for $107; and Falmouth Camp Moc for $96.

I have the falmouth; it’s a great show. Easily worth $100, IMO.
